Is your company hiring for a database position? Do you wanna work with the kinds of people who read this blog? Let’s set up some rapid networking here. If your company is hiring, leave a comment.
The rules:
- Your comment must include the job title, and either a link to the full job description, or the text of it. It doesn’t have to be a SQL Server DBA job, but it does have to be related to databases. (We get a pretty broad readership here – it can be any database.)
- An email address to send resumes, or a link to the application process – if I were you, I’d put an email address because you may want to know that applicants are readers here, because they might be more qualified than the applicants you regularly get.
- Please state the location and include REMOTE and/or VISA when that sort of candidate is welcome. When remote work is not an option, include ONSITE.
- Please only post if you personally are part of the hiring company—no recruiting firms or job boards. Only one post per company. If it isn’t a household name, please explain what your company does.
- Commenters: please don’t reply to job posts to complain about something. It’s off topic here.
- Readers: please only email if you are personally interested in the job.
If your comment isn’t relevant or smells fishy, I’ll delete it. If you have questions about why your comment got deleted, or how to maximize the effectiveness of your comment, contact me.
I close the comments here after 1 week, and publish another post each month in the Who’s Hiring category so y’all can get the latest opportunities.
If you want to be notified as people leave new job comments here, there’s a “subscribe without commenting” option where you leave a comment.

Morning Bev,
I don’t have linkedin premium, so cannot message you there.
Question from me is would this position be available for fully remote working?
I am asking as I currently work for a UK based company and am living in Greece.
I will have to check on that but I am fairly sure it is US only. The position is 100% remote though with the option to be onsite if residing in the vicinity of the office in W. Middlesex, PA.
Thanks for the feedback!
Hi Bev!
Would love to send you my resume – IF y’all are still looking!
I currently work remote and specialize in ETL for a financial company.
Hope we can connect!
Thx
Ryan
Hi Ryan – can you message me on Linked-In? I cannot find you on there.
Thanks –
Bev
I also do not have LinkedIn premium and can’t message you there… My profile is : linkedin/in/ ryan-mcknight-539a7621

We’re looking for data consultants (and lots of other consulting positions). We especially need strong BI/BA folks with Azure experience (Synapse, ADF, PBI, Databricks, etc.). We also need people with Azure migration experience. If you don’t see a specific position you like, feel free to email me your resume. Python Software Engineer – Semi-Remote (2-3 days a week) – New York, Chicago, Boston, SF, Austin, London
Not SQL Server related, so maybe a bit of a stretch, but I know lots of good people in the SQL Server world, so worth a shot?
My team — tasked with creation of a financial data platform leveraged by analysts, researchers, and quants — is looking for an experienced, skilled Python engineer. I am seeking someone with at least 8-10 years of experience working on shipping products or at the very least on internal projects with actual lifecycle and process. We’re a relatively small but fairly high visibility team, dealing with large volumes of data in a cloud-oriented (AWS) architecture. Lots of interesting problems to solve (IMHO) and a truly excellent team (IMNSHO). Not to mention, great company to work for.
Bonus stuff:
– Knowing something about the asset management industry, especially vendor data used therein.
– Experience with Postgres
– Experience writing C#, especially on .NET Core
– Experience writing Rust
– Kubernetes!
Job req not posted at the moment, but will be shortly. In the meantime, if you’d like more information, email me: amachanic [..at..] bamfunds [..dot..] com
It’d be good to know the jobs that are being posted here are open to people located outside US. 🙂
See PwC… there are positions world wide.
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is generally hiring for multiple SQL Server roles. Go to LinkedIn and put in PwC and SQL. You can apply your own filters from there. I pulled up about 50+ all over US. There are also openings listed world wide. Pay is competitive and pretty good benefits as well.
Yes, I work there. No this isn’t my work email.

Carvana (Phoenix, AZ) – Online used car dealer changing the way people shop for, buy, sell, and trade-in used vehicles. Be part of one of the fastest growing companies in the United States and help disrupt the car buying status quo!
Data Engineer(s) – On site, but Remote available for more experienced candidates.
I am looking to add two talented data engineers to my team. One role is junior-to-mid level, and one is senior. We need help capturing reporting data from the growing list of services powering our business, so that the product and analyst teams can help shape future innovations. The majority of our workload is working with analysts and front end engineers to determine how to get the Analytics data we need from their applications, and then building the ETL/ELT processes to do just that. It is a fast paced environment where you’ll get to operate with a lot of freedom. Front end applications are mostly hosted in Azure SQL DB and Cosmos DB. Our primary Analytics warehouse is SQL Server native (on a GCP VM). We use SSIS and Databricks for the majority of ETL/ELT activity, as well as python for API sources. Snowflake is being investigated as a data platform that will help Analytics scale into the future.
All applications go through a single job post, here – https://www.carvana.com/careers/apply?gh_jid=2563885. You can email me your resume so I know you came from Brent’s site – jeremy.hughes@carvana.com. Bonus points if you add a link to your favorite blog post or course you’ve learned from!

We are a team of 4 DBAs managing both SQL Server and MySQL (2 per platform). To keep up with the increasing business demands, we’re looking for a new hire to help us (mostly on SQL Server, but MySQL knowledge is valued and appreciated).
IMHO Interesting bits: Company is highly multi-ethnical so English is the standard language at work, plus you get to know people from all around the world (which is, admittedly, very cool).
Of course, WFH is allowed during current times, but the company requires the new hire to be in Luxembourg or neighboring countries – most of Luxembourgish workforce commute from France, Belgium, or Germany, which also means almost everyone speaks English.
Monogram Foods is looking for a data architect. We are looking to transition from our current on-premises data warehouse to an Azure cloud solution. We are a Microsoft shop running Dynamics 365 for Finance and leveraging Power BI for our analytics platform. We are just building out ADF jobs, beginning to use Data Lakes and still in the design phase for the data warehouse. This is an opportunity to build it right the first time for a rapidly growing organization.

Role : Data Engineer
We’re looking for someone to lead our efforts to get our data estate out of Silos and into people’s hands without having to go through a development team. The role also involves paving the way to our data compliance strategy and owning our BCP/DR plans/implementations for our Data Estate.
We currently run two Failover Cluster SQL Server 2017 environments for production with log shipping to two single-node servers at a DR site. We’re in the early phases of our Cloud Migration so it’s an exciting time to come on board and help design what these environments look like in that world.
