And on the flip side, other folks are realizing they desperately want to get back into an office, but their companies have gone fully remote.

I currently have 14 SQL Servers with hot warm-by servers. We are looking to migrate part of our database to NoSQL also.
The job includes both Production DBA + Development DBA. You often have to help developers with query performances but what’s nice is that they actually listen to your suggestions!
A lot of development is coming, the job is challenging but not boring. Days go by fast!
I also get paid to follow Brent’s recorded classes. It’s a very nice place to work and I rarely get alerts at night.
