As I finished this weekend’s live stream, I noticed that we crossed a big number.
The Brent Ozar Unlimited YouTube channel now has over 25,000 subscribers.
Well, that’s kinda awesome. I’ve had a great time doing all kinds of free live streams during the quarantines, and it’s been super fulfilling seeing so many folks show up on a regular basis for learning and fun.

25k subscribers is quite an accomplishment considering you don’t have any YouTube ads in your videos. I suspect the YouTube algorithm prioritizes streamers that do.
I was searching for “SQL Server DBA” etc on YouTube a few months back and had to watch an insufferable amount of subpar videos until I remembered your name from wayyy back in 2010 and wondered if you had a channel. It boggles my mind that your videos didn’t get returned until I specifically mentioned your name.
I hope you keep these videos coming! They are hands down the best SQL YouTube videos out there
