If you get into a car, how do you know if the car is fast or not? You hold down the gas pedal, and you time how long it takes before you’re breakin’ the law.
Now what about SQL Server: how do you know if yours is fast…or a clunker? Database performance tuners need to know three metrics about their SQL Server: how fast it’s going, how hard it’s working, and how big it is. I’ll explain where to get those numbers, and what normal ranges are. You’ll learn why advice is so different, depending on the kind of server you’re driving.

There doesn’t seem to be an option to view the recording.
Hi Brent,
I also cannot see a way to view the recording, which is naooying as my task for today is to attempt to better right size my Azure SQL VM as my company has tasked me to trim the fat as much as possible to save money as we’re suffering finanically under the current climate. I was hoping this webcast would be a good step i nthat direction for our SQL server.
Oh sure, if you’re in a hurry and can’t wait for Quest to post the free webcast, then you can watch it here immediately instead:

I registered for the class but never received an email from you. I showed up yesterday but all of the links on this page are no longer clickable:

Try checking the boxes and putting your email in at the bottom of the page.
I did try checking the boxes but the links are no longer clickable (as of yesterday). And I don’t know what you mean to put my email at the bottom of the page. There is no place to do that. My manager wanted me to attend the class yesterday and I thought I was set to go, but since the links no longer are clickable, there was no way to attend.
Hi Brent, It was awsome but I cannot find the slides, Did you have the link yet?
Yep, check with Quest and they can get em to you. Glad you liked it!
