Live Class Enrollment Opens Soon – For Just $995!

I teach Microsoft SQL Server performance tuning in a 4-class rotation. The winter rotation is getting ready to start:

• Fundamentals Week – November 2-6
• Mastering Index Tuning – November 30-Dec 4
• Mastering Query Tuning – January 11-15, 2027
• Mastering Server Tuning – February 8-12, 2027

You have to take ’em in order, so I only open up registration as Fundamentals Week approaches, but … this rotation timing is a little tricky, isn’t it?

Normally, the Live Class Season Pass 2026 lets you attend any of the upcoming classes, but this is the last rotation for the year, and … my Black Friday sale opens November 1, and it’ll be for my upcoming 2027 rotation. It doesn’t seem fair to ask you to be poised at the keyboard on Sunday November 1, trying to use your boss’s credit card to pay for training, so … I’ve got an idea.

Registration opens Thursday at Black Friday prices.

Starting October 1:

• The Live Class Season Pass is $4,395 just $995
• It’ll be the 2027 LCSP, meaning you can attend any Fundamentals Week or Mastering class all 2027 long
• You get streaming access to all of my recorded classes, all 2027 long

Get ready, and move fast, because registration closes October 31. From that point on, the same price will continue for our Black Friday sale all November long, but you won’t be able to attend the winter rotation, and you’ll have to wait for the spring rotation that starts March 1, 2027.

When you buy, here’s what to know.

To keep costs low during Black Friday, we only accept payment via credit card or buy-now-pay-later options (Klarna, Affirm, etc) through the site. You can email us at help@brentozar.com for quotes or purchase orders for 10 seats or more, but anything smaller has to go through the online purchase process to get that steep discount. (And no, we don’t discount 10 or more seats during Black Friday – these prices are as low as we go.)

You’ll want to set up your own lab to follow along with the demos and do the homework assignments. You can use your own VM, a cloud VM, Azure SQL DB (any flavor), or Amazon RDS SQL Server.

You’ll want to block off my class dates on your calendar. The classes are Monday-Friday, and we do 4-hour blocks so that you can keep up with your regular work and do the hands-on labs:

• Noon-4PM Eastern
• 9AM-1PM Pacific
• 5PM-9PM London

• Jan 10-14, 2028 – Mastering Query Tuning (included with 2027 season pass)
• Feb 7-11, 2028 – Mastering Server Tuning (included with 2027 season pass)

My Live Class Season Pass holders often just join in on the live stream and the Slack chat, leaving the class open in the background while they work, absorbing more knowledge.
