Senior SQL Server DBA – Central Israel | HYBRID
Nice to meet you — we’re Experda. We’re an Israeli database and data company helping organizations design, manage, optimize, and troubleshoot complex database environments.
We’re currently hiring an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our team and work in a complex enterprise environment with an international industrial company.
What you’ll do:
Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server Production and Test environments
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, resolve deadlocks, and perform query optimization and performance tuning
Manage backup and recovery processes, including periodic restore testing
Support HA/DR and business continuity processes
Perform version upgrades, preventive maintenance, and ongoing database optimization
Manage database security, users, and permissions
Work closely with infrastructure and application teams
Support additional technologies including MongoDB, Oracle, BI systems, and Priority ERP
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience
Experience supporting Production environments
Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills
Experience with backup & recovery, including Transaction Log Backups
Experience with database security and permissions
Nice to have: MongoDB, Oracle, Priority ERP, BI environments, and NetApp.
? Location: Central Israel, easily accessible by train
