Server Power Changed
In SQL ConstantCare®, we keep an eye on how much power your SQL Server has: how many CPU cores it has, and how much memory it has.
When those numbers change, we alert you because – well, sometimes it’s a good thing, and sometimes it’s a bad thing! It’s not always just due to changing the VM size: sometimes it’s due to a cluster failover to a weaker node (or DR), or a memory chip going bad, or a dynamically resizing server.
When these things happen, your query performance will naturally be affected – so we just want you to know about it before you go troubleshooting changing performance.
