Database administration is an unusual job because nobody understands what we do. You know how you get all frustrated when certain things happen, but nobody else understands what you’re thinking?
Yeah, me too.
I give you @DBAreactions: Twitter and Tumblr.
We’ve been working on it for the last few weeks, and we’re having more fun with it than we’ve had in a long time. Enjoy!

Hah! I wondered who was behind this fabulous site. It all makes sense now…
Thanks, it’s fun because people want to know why you suddenly started cackling madly for seemingly no reason. It’s frustrating though because then you show it to them and they say “Uh, now why is that funny?”
Love it !
Lol. It’s as good (if not better) than @gselevator …except most of my outside-work-friends understand @gselevator 😛
HA! Thanks. And I follow @gselevator too, heh – pretty good stuff. For those of you who don’t know, it’s stuff overheard in Goldman Sachs elevators.
Love the DBA Reactions! 🙂
That’s just stupidly funny!!
Got the whole DBA group laughing!!
Thanks!
This is my fav twitter handle these days, love it 🙂
Where is the ‘anonymous’ suggestion box 🙂
