First off , solid case-study based presentation. Exactly the stuff I was looking for.
I know distributions and HQL has evolved from the time you put this up. For DW tasks , specifically Dimensional modelling based tasks, how would HiveQL based approach carry out SCDs – Type 2s specifically? Any insight?
Nathan Marz covers this in Big Data, but the short answer is that it does quite well.
