The more you use Twitter, the more you’re going to want something with more power. The web site is cool, but wouldn’t it be nice to get a program that:
- Makes a noise whenever you get a tweet
- Lets you organize people into groups (friends, coworkers, celebrities)
- Cram more information into tweets by shortening long web site addresses
Good news – there’s plenty of free Twitter clients (programs) out there!
If you’re just getting started with Twitter, I recommend TweetDeck. It’s very easy to use, it’s free, and they update it pretty frequently to include new features.
