My Travels
I’m a travelin’ man. Growing up, we moved every two years. When it came time for college, I picked the furthest one I could find, and moved from Michigan to Texas. Since then, I’ve seen most major cities in the Southeast, from DC to Orlando to El Paso to St. Louis. I love road trips, and I love the travel itself.I’ve got a few pages set up with quick journals of each trip. Whenever I go on vacation, I like searching the web for other people who’ve experienced the same city. Learn from the mistakes of others, as they say. At the same time, I highly recommend reading Frommer’s or Let’s Go books for your destination: they’re updated every year, and they go into more detail than I would ever want to bother with.
I include notes on some of the cities I’ve lived in. I’m a firm believer in being a tourist in your own city, and treating your stay like a vacation. (Maybe that comes from my moving around every couple of years!)

- Whitehall, Michigan 1998-1992
