Buying Time (My Column in HAL-PC Magazine)

I've been buying computer equipment for businesses for years - building networks across the country for hotel management companies, picking out laptops for traveling executives, and just helping friends with their home computers. Along the way, I've gained a lot of invaluable knowledge about how to buy computer gear that lasts and how to avoid lemons.

For a couple of years, I tried to give something back to the community was to write a monthly column for my local user's group, HAL-PC. On these pages, you'll find copies of my published articles as well as more in-depth information and updates.

Reprints

If you use one of my articles, just let me know so I can be proud of it. I feel all shiny and happy when people do reprints, and I like knowing where they show up. Otherwise, I run across them in Google, and rather than feeling shiny and happy, I feel violated. (Well, a cross between violated and flattered, I suppose.)
