Great topic to talk about. I have this problem, even at my small shop. When I browse a list of SQL Servers in TOAD or SSMS, I get back a bunch of machines that as far as I know should NOT be running SQL.

I hear ya. The crazy thing is that presentations go around the clock, so people are presenting all hours of the night. Ouch.
