Got the book!

My Amazon preorder just arrived.  The ball can now officially drop and 2010 can begin.  Hooah!

Also of note – the Amazon sales ranking.  It’s updated hourly, so it’s been all over the place the last couple of days, but I’m giddy every time I look at it.  We’ve been in the top 5-50 books in all the major database categories each time I’ve looked.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go curl up with a glass of wine and read through everybody else’s chapters.  I’ve got a lot of learning to do….

    Congrats Guys!

That is a great picture, an awesome feat and I can’t wait to get my review copy so I can plow through it all. Lots of work and time and I am sure it has paid off.

    LOL! Loved the picture… Congrats!

Everybody better get to Amazon and buy the book… it’s rankings are down since Brent posted his figures! Some lousy Oracle and Access and MySQL books have inched above it in the Relational Databases category!!

That’s so awesome, congrats! By the way did you get to select the cover? I know you like to use car analogies in your presentations and posts so just wondering if you had a hand in that race car showing up as the cover.

Thanks! No, I had absolutely nothing to do with picking the cover, so I was giddy when I saw it. What a great image! I don’t think I could have picked a better one if I’d tried.

Just ordered the book from Amazon yesterday. Counting down the days until it arrives. Looking forward to reading it.

I am wondering where I could find the book as a eBook? I tried the WROX, but it is only available in paperback.

Unfortunately, it’s not available as an electronic book yet. I’ve put in a request for a Kindle version. Is there another format you’d look for?

Any electronic format will be preferred due to the lack of physical space here. :)
