Well I'm on day 2 of using RTM and so far so good. Best point so far is breaking my tasks up by Client.

On another note when I walk into a conference room of pissed-off users, defensive developers and frustrated sysadmins my first thought is how am I going to politely point out if they went with my original architecture they wouldn't be in this situation. :)

Yeah, I do miss that. I miss walking into a conference room of pissed-off users, defensive developers and frustrated sysadmins, opening my laptop, working for 60 seconds and saying, "Well, there's your problem."

That's why I still do consulting on the side. Well, that and the money, ha ha ho ho.

I have been living and breathing RTM and Inbox Zero since becoming a manager. So... How often does a marketing guy get critical adrenalin pumping, CxO screaming, $1000/minute production issues? Never? And do you miss it?
