		<description>Only getting to this now through the archives (which are awesome by the way), but certs to me are similar to belts in martial arts. There&#039;s a saying that &quot;A belt only covers 2 inches of your ass, you have to cover the rest&quot;, I think it&#039;s also true with certs. It opens doors and gives you a good general knowledge, but it isn&#039;t a sign of expertise (at least at MCITP level) and you still have to put the work in. Still, the converse is that it&#039;s much easier to sell a cake with pretty icing on it!</description>
