OHMYGOD, ADAM SAVAGE! Seriously, if he shook my hand I would never wash it again. I'm not sure what the twitter equivalent is. Maybe you never clean your monitor screen again?

PS. Thank you, sweet friend.

I gotta be brutally honest - I'm not wild about the new comment plugin. There's anti-spam and moderation going on in both WordPress and on IntenseDebate's side, and it makes things more complex. I'm all for simplicity, especially when I'm doing this in my spare time.

I really like the IDEA of IntenseDebate - the thought of being able to follow people's comments around the web is intriguing to me. If somebody I know makes a comment on a blog entry somewhere, I bet I'd find that discussion interesting, and IntenseDebate enables that kind of integrated conversation stuff. It's not "there" yet, but it's close enough that I'm sucking up the pain and living with the plugin for now.

If it makes you feel any better, I noticed Adam's reply to you and thought almost the very same thing that you did.

In an unrelated note - how do you like the new comment plug in? I know you've had trouble...
