The good thing about the internet is it makes the world small.
The bad thing is it doesn’t quite make the world small enough.
One of my guilty pleasures is the nasty gossip site What Would Tyler Durden Do. I’m not particularly interested in celebrities, but the writing on the site is hilarious. If you haven’t seen the 1999 movie Fight Club, you can still follow the humor, but it’s a little funnier knowing a bit about the background.
Anyway, WWTDD posted a link to the trailer for the upcoming movie Normal Adolescent Behavior. The background music blew me away, and I just had to have that track.
Except I can’t.
It’s not for sale in the US.
Turns out it’s a UK group called The Blood Arm, and they’ve got a Myspace page with their music. So I’m like, great, take my ninety-nine cents and give me that track. Please. Now.
Oh, but nooooo, it’s not so easy. So one thing led to another, and next thing you know, I’ve got a shopping cart at MerchLackey.com complete with their CD, a single, a t-shirt, and stuff from other bands. Hmm. Guess that kinda worked out in their favor.
